Public transport options

  • Transperth provides information on bus routes and timetables for the Perth metropolitan area

  • Perth’s rail system services most areas via six lines running from Armadale, Fremantle, Joondalup, Midland, Rockingham and Mandurah

  • Free CATS (central area transport service) buses shuttle frequently along popular routes around the CBD

  • Ferries operate between the Elizabeth Quay Jetty and Mends St Jetty

  • Transwa operate train and coach services for regional areas including the Australind, AvonLink and Prospector routes

  • International flights arrive directly into Perth Airport from many global transit hubs. From the airport it’s an easy 35 minute taxi or coach ride to the city centre.
